New Pug Painting ~ You are My Sunshine! ~ Pug Design A91

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so excited to show you my latest work!

This is the expression Archie has on his face when we I am talking to him. :)

I love to work with him next to me while I share ideas, tell him stories or teach him a new trick!

He is a very inquisitive & attentive puggy who is also a very good listener!

He is my sunshine and I love sharing him with you!

This is the third pug painting I have done this month and is Pug Design A91 in my latest series of paintings.

I took lots of photos for you to see how he popped to life just like I did for paintings A89 & A90. :)

Ta Da!

I never know who is going to appear on the end of my brush, but I am am always so excited to meet them! :)

Here are the 3 new paintings I created and when I looked at them all together, I laughed because it so looks like they are spending the afternoon together gossiping doesn't it? :)

The gossiper...

The listener...

The Shocking Reaction! :)

All 3 of these puggies are now available for you to enjoy on all of my pug products. :)

I will be unveiling new products for you to place them on in coming weeks so stay tuned for more FUN on the way!

Jimmie!

We are reporting today from Vail, CO! :)

Pack your bags because we all get to go to Vail today!

It is beeeautiful and relaxing here!

Dad is taking lots of photos to share with you!

Here is the gondola that takes people up the mountain to bike or hike down!

...and here are the bikes!

After a day of FUN outdoor activities...

We can do some indoor ones too like shop at the nearby outlet mall!

I do not like to go into the stores but prefer to do a little window shopping since I do not get an allowance to spend.

I am paid for good deeds and behavior in Cheerios and I found out quickly that the stores do not let me buy treats and toys with Cheerios!

What do they know?

Jimmie and I both LOVE them!

That was a FULL day!

I am pooped!

Now we will tuck ourselves in and watch movies together!

I will just rest my eyes before dinner...

..and I will sing for mine!

We are ready for the popcorn before the shows start!

I will just rest my eyes again until they start!

What a magical weekend we are having!

Please write and tell us what you are up to!

We cannot wait to hear all about it!

Let's Play Tag with Teddy!

Happy Wednesday everyone!

I have been having FUN today with scraps of fleece, my sewing machine and a little fabric glue!

Meet Teddy the Tag Doll I made for our adorable corgi cousin Teddy!

It is just like the real Teddy...

Super soft, cute & always ready to play! :)

It was so fast and easy to make!

I did not even mess with a pattern!

There is nothing exact about this project!

He does not even need any stuffing!

All I did to make him was cut out 2 matching sized peanut shaped forms from black fleece without a pattern.

Then I pulled out my scrap piece of white fleece and quickly free form cut a shoe shaped piece to create the white half of teddy's face that I pinned to the front of doll and sewed on with my sewing machine.

I cut and knotted recycled cotton fabric ribbon yarn to make the tag ears arms & legs and pinned them facing in on the front of the form and sewed them in place.

I learned this technique by making my pug doll with this easy bunny pattern from The Sewing Loft Blog.

When the white mask, ear loops and arms & legs are secure you are ready to finish him up by facing the right sides of the black peanut shapes together making sure the arms, legs and ears are tucked in and sewing around leaving an opening at the bottom to flip him right side out through.

The arms, legs and feet will now be all secure and dangling & ready to be chewed on.

The final steps are to hand sew him with a whip or ladder stitch along the bottom opening.

You can stuff yours but I chose not to as I think stuffing free toys are safer for sharp little puppy mouths to play with just in case they open up the toy. :)

I free hand cut some circles for the eyes and a nose shape and glued them on with fabric glue and Voila!

Will the real Teddy please stand up?

Tee Hee!

Archie and I are sooooo happy that Teddy loves his new toy because we LOVE him!

You can make this to look like any doggy just by changing the colors and shapes you cut for the face.

Any fabric ribbon or yarn will work perfectly for tags for your buddy to chew on for hours of FUN!

Please let me know if you make one too!

I would love to see!

Friday Funnies ~ Splish Splash! Jimmie is taking a bath!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...
Jimmie!

Guess what my favorite thing to do besides talking up a storm?

It is singing in the shower of course!

I love to take baths fly over to my mom every time she is by the sink to have her help me!

Here is a little movie she took of me to show you how much FUN I have splashing around.

The video seems to have a little blip right at the 37 second mark, but stick with me... I still have a few flip of the wings to show you before it is over. :)

This stinky guy is next but he does not know it yet...

He gets to shower in the bathroom upstairs with bubbles and everything!

What are you up to this weekend?
How are you celebrating the 1st day of Summer?

Please leave me a note and let me know!

New Mother Bear ~ Signed, Sealed and made with LOVE

Happy Wednesday everyone!

R-Chee & I are so excited to introduce you to our newest Mother Bear that we made for The Mother Bear Project!

Ta Da!

He LOVES showing off his fancy striped arms! :)

I think he wants to fly to Africa all by himself to hug his new forever child that we made him to love.

R-Chee thinks that Africa is a long way for a little bear to fly all by himself so...

He carefully licked all of the stamps to send him to Amy and her team to pack up with other little bears made from all over the world to go together when the time is right!

We loved making him for them and will make more soon!

If you would like to knit or crochet a bear or help The MBP with yarn or money donations please visit their how you can help page here... http://www.motherbearproject.org/how_help.html

Please let us know if you make one too!

We would love to see!
