Melanie's MBP Bears in South Africa!

Happy Friday everyone!

Oh my gosh!

I just received an e-mail from Amy at the Mother Bear Project that brought happy tears to my eyes!

Do you remember the batch of MBP bears that Melanie just crocheted and sent to the children in Africa?

Well, in a few weeks time, the bears not only arrived in Africa, but are already being loved by the children!

This is Melanie's very first batch of bears!

Please follow these links to see them being made and then ready to be shipped.

Look how much joy & happiness they are bringing from her and Moe!

Just magic I tell ya!
Life is Art... Art is Life!
What wonderful things do yo have planned for the weekend?
Please leave us a note and tell us all about them! We cannot wait to hear!

Hi Melissa & Emmitt! How wonderful to see the pictures of the bears in the hands of the children. I'm sure the bears have all taught the children how to sing and dance already thanks to Moe. What wonderful work you and Melanie do for children in need!

Some of my friends are coming over tomorrow, so it's going to be a big day. I will use Sunday to recover from Saturday because that's what us old guys do!

Hello Melissa and Emmitt!

To see the children with their smiles that your family created is truely a gift to everyone. Thank you for sharing.

Mommy and Daddy are taking us to the park today since they are both off. Although, I think it maybe a little chilly here in our land.

Your puggie friends,
Josie, Izzy, and Anakin

Oh those pictures of the smiling faces are just precious! I've got no big plans for the weekend, well, maybe to watch a bit of NCAA since my alma mater made the Elite 8! I should get out for a walk today since it's so very sunny (though probably a bit chilly). Have a great weekend!!
